I'm a Computer Science student at the University of Houston (3.81 GPA, Dean's Distinguished Scholars List) with hands-on experience building full-stack applications in JavaScript, React, Node.js, and Express. I like projects where the interesting part isn't the CRUD — it's the logic underneath: how a budget gets checked for realism, how a withdrawal should or shouldn't affect a savings goal, how a queue stays fair under load. Strong foundation in data structures, databases, and machine learning, and I test what I build.

A database-backed savings tracker that replaces a personal spreadsheet — goals, accounts, and a transaction log with real deposit, withdrawal, and reallocation logic instead of spreadsheet formulas. Handles the messy cases spreadsheets wave away: splitting a withdrawal across goals, and deciding whether spending money should count against a goal's progress or not.
An AI travel planner that checks whether your budget is realistic before building an itinerary — and if it isn't, tells you the lowest budget that would actually work instead of returning nothing. Groups each day's stops by area so you aren't crossing the city twice, and matches restaurants by price, rating, and cuisine.
A full-stack queue management system built with a team for a Software Design course. Contributed backend authentication, ticket history, and core business logic — RESTful APIs with bcrypt password hashing and role-based access control, backed by 29 automated Jest/Supertest tests reaching 93% statement coverage.
